Cancelling a ressie w/ borrowed points?

I need to change up a ressie and use developer points instead of regular ones. I borrowed 111pts to make the ressie though so I'm not sure what happens to those points when I cancel? Do they go back into my 09 UY or stay in the 08 UY? If they stay in 08 are they bankable to 09?

Borrowed points do not go back to the use year you borrowed from and no they can not be banked. I learned the hard way on this matter. You have to use the borrowed points in the current use year.
You can use the borrowed points for a ressie for this year and bank this years points.

thanks! That's what I was afraid of. Well I'll just have to get creative with our spring vacation! LOL

I think you can use them for a future II trade. You can bank them into II and use them later for a trade. Check with MS to make sure. This might help.
