as long as there is no copyright on the back of the picture - I don't see a problem.

Since you asked for opinions, I'll give mine: I think it's wrong.

Can't you go down to WalMart or Sears and get a cheap package of pictures for your family? They have some really good deals this time of year. Watch for coupons. Those school pictures ARE overpriced but when you order the package you agree to their terms. No one is required to use school pictures.
