Cancelled trip — MagicBand refund?

Hi there! I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with something similar...

I recently booked a trip for January and chose my MagicBand and paid the $30 for it right after booking. Soon after that same day, a CM friend offered to book my room through the friends and family discount so I ended up cancelling that reservation and linking the new reservation to my account. It's now telling me to choose a MagicBand for my new reservation, but I realized that my first MagicBand selection had already said it was processing... does anyone know if I'll get a refund for my first order since it was cancelled so quickly, or will it still come? Either way, I'm not worried about not getting the same band, but I just don't want to pay twice on accident.

Agreed. ANY MagicBand that you ordered thru your MyDisneyExperience will automatically work with any tickets and WDW resort stay that also appears in your MDX account.
That holds true for this trip and any future trips, too.

Thanks! I figured if it arrived it would still work, but since that initial reservation was cancelled, there was no way for me to see if that MB was still listed as processing or not. I guess I'll see a shipping notification in a few days!

Update: I think my MB order was cancelled when I cancelled my reservation? The pending charge from shopDisney isn't listed in my account anymore, nor does it show up at all as a transaction that did go through. I tried to look up my order number with shopDisney but it says it doesn't exist. I did receive my refund of my deposit for the room, however. Just in case anyone had a similar question! Guess I'm rebuying!
