Cancelled CRT ADR - refund?

Hi, there! A few days ago I cancelled a CRT ADR for mid-October. Will this amt. be refunded to our credit card any time soon? I feel like I've read that the date of the ADR has to actually pass before you get refunded, but that doesn't seem quite right... thank you!

Well, first Disney has to remit the refund to your credit card company, then your credit card company has to process that refund. I would give it 5-10 business days before I started calling anyone....

I'll absolutely be patient and didn't expect to see it yet - just confirming that the refund would start processing now, vs. several months from now. Thank you!

Disney has always refunded any charge to us quickly, but then it's a matter of how long your credit card company takes to post the refund which is the reason you often see a disclaimer to allow up to 3 billing cycles. In most cases we've seen the refund by the next billing cycle.

Depending on your Credit card as there are different policies once the refund is issued it can take up to 10 days for it to appear on your statement. This is done for fraud protection. If the amount is under 100 in general it will appear as soon as it is processed on all credit cards others will have a 200 limit but above that amount it will be held by all..... You can however call your credit card company as they can see the refund on their end before it will appear on your statement.
