Cancelled ADR still showing on app?

Hi All,

Hoping someone can calm my nerves about this....I cancelled a Cali Grill ADR in favor of an 'Ohana ADR which I did on the website and all appears well on MDE on the website. However, when I look at my itinerary through the MDE app, it shows both the Ohana reservation and the Cali Grill reservation (within an hour of each other). I want to make sure of two things: 1. That Disney doesn't cancel my 'Ohana reservation, seeing the Cali Grill one in there & 2. Will I be charged for a no-show if this continues to show on MDE app?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you have a cancellation confirmation email, you'll be fine.

Sometimes you need to log out and log back into the app to make the ghosts in the machine go away....

This happened to me before- a cancelled reservation kept showing in the app. I spent about two hours of my life trying to get it corrected with Disney Dining, Disney IT, and Guest Services.
Ultimately I was told that as long as it doesn’t show on the web site for MDE, to just ignore the app. Try logging into the MDE web site rather than the app to see if it’s showing there.
Eventually it disappeared on its own after a few weeks.
Good luck!

This happens to me all the time. Its like the system needs to refresh before it will show correctly. So give it a bit (maybe even a few days/weeks...seriously). As long as the website is showing that the reservation has been canceled and you have a cancellation number then you'll be fine.

I had the same thing happen. I had to uninstall and then reinstall the app to get it to go away.

Had the same problem on mine. Looks like I am eating at like 100 places during my trip. Uninstall and Installing again worked for me. Guess I will do it right before I leave lol

As someone who makes his reservations 180 days out and is always tweaking his plans this happens a lot . However as previous posters have mentioned they do go away , just not as quickly as we would like . But rest assured they always seem to disappear in a day or so

I had one for my last trip that never disappeared on the website, but I had a cancellation email, and when I called Disney
it showed as cancelled on their end.

OMG, was coming on here to post the exact same thing. I cancelled a bunch of ADR's and they still show on my I-phone app. I powered down my phone and turned it back on and it shows the same thing.

Delete the app and reinstall. It worked for me

This happens to me, but what I do is just touch and drag the page down until it refreshes. Then it will update. I don't know if you tried that, but when you pull down, you can see the last time it synced. Which can be days ago, even though other parts of the app are in real time, like wait times. It's odd, but found it works for me.

What @juuuliebeth said about refreshing the app, and checking for the last synced time stamp. The MDE app will show a lot of outdated info, including used fastpasses, until it's refreshed.

I have five of them still showing on the app. Not the website though so I won't worry about it.
