1. That is misleading information.
If you check-in on line (and you SHOULD check-in on line) you will never go to the resort desk, and you won't be getting any "tickets."
2a. You won't need to go to the front desk at all. "Her" ticket will be in her
MDE account (I'm assuming that it is actually YOUR MDE account)
and, since it will never be used at the gate, the ticket will remain new and unused for the duration of this trip and beyond.
3. You don't need to do anything. All guests' tickets will already be in the MDE account(s) and will be ready for use on the date and time
that you specify as your arrival
when you check-in on line.
2b. If you WANT a stand-alone actual TICKET (the one your daughter won't be using) that you can keep for future use at WDW,
you CAN go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations with her MB and ask that they issue you a ticket.
It will be a plastic credit card-type with a built-in RFID chip. That ticket will ALSO still be active (but new and unused) in the MDE account.
