My fiance is in the army - our contract is being worked on & we are to sign it sometime over the next few weeks. I was wondering what happens if you have to cancel or reschedule our wedding. Being a military bride there is always the chance that something military related might come up. So does anyone know the cancellation policy or rescheduling policy??? Thanks! :goodvibes

I actually just got my contract in the mail so i can tell you what i understand their policy to be....This is only once you have signed the contract and sent in your 1,000 deposit.
"you agree to pay to Disney as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, a cancellation fee, calculated as follows."
days before = amount you owe Disney
0-30 days before the wedding = 90% of thefood and beverage, room, entertainment, etc

31-90 days before wedding = 50% of the room charges, plus 2,500 dollars.

91-180 days before wedding = 30% of the room charges plus 1,500 dollars

and finally if it is 180 days before the wedding you lose your deposit.

Also...make sure you talk to them about it before you sign. My fiance is also in the Army and we told them that right off the bat. They've told us they would work with us if anything happened. So, let them know.
