cancellation policy

I have an ill family member who isn't doing well-- I have a trip booked in August... if I need to cancel a package it is $200 right? can anyone confirm this for me... short on free time this week... tia Jill
 
If you are more than 45 days out, it is my understanding that you will get all your payment back including your deposit. Someone will correct me on this if I am wrong.
 
If you have booked a package (room+tickets, with or without dining), you can cancel anytime before 45 days from arrival (when your balance is due) without penalty. After that, the penalty is $200. Or, you can postpone your trip to sometime in the future and have the funds applied.

If you booked a room-only reservation (one-night's stay deposit), you can cancel up to 6 days in advance with no penalty.

As long as you are 45 days out, you get everything back except for maybe trip insurance (I've never gotten trip ins, so I don't know that rule). I pray your family member makes it through whatever they are dealing with. :hug:
 

I had to cancel on a very short term. I called Disney,explained I had cancer and whiteout any problem I got the whole amount (7000 Dollar) refunded.
