cancellation policy on buying points????help fast!

Hi guys, it's me who can't do anything easy!
DH is fighting our addon. I sure wish we could wait until after our trip but as you know, prices go up tomorrow.
If we tell our guide to go ahead, and DH decides in a day or so that we can't afford it, how many days do we have to cancel? This way we can lock in the price and I can hammer away at him later, but if I'm not successful (it's a hard battle so far but it got better once I told him how much our 2004 would cost in cash, I think the tide is turning in my favor) is it a 3 day period to cancel or what?

My understanding is that you have 2 weeks to sign the paperwork and then a 2 week "cooling off" period in which you can cancel. Now this is on a new membership, so I don't know if it applies to an add on. I'm sure there are people who know much better than I around that will respond later.
 
We just did an add-on and the contract was the same as the original contract. You have to return the contract within 7 days and you can cancel up to 15 days after you signed.
 
I've added on a couple of times.....Like everyone else on this board.....The only regret was NOT doing it earlier!!!
