hi everyone!

Could someone please explain to me how easy/difficult it is to cancel a cruise with Disney...cut off dates, loss of deposits etc.

I have tried to read the T&C's but my eyes just glaze over...

I m thinking of booking a cruise for sept. 2017. 2 staterooms for our family of 6. 7 night fantasy cruise to the Caribbean.

We cruised with Disney last November but when we made the booking we were 100% committed with airfares already purchased (from Australia). I am sure of dates but being so far away I can't book airfares yet and unsure of the airfare cost (family of 6). Airfares from Aus. are a massive expense and will determine when we can travel.

Thanks for your help!

If you are not booking concierge and cancel before the paid in full date, it's 100% refundable. Concierge deposits are completely different and I don't book it so I don't pay attention to the rules.

As noted, unless you've reserved a Concierge room, you'll get all your money back, as long as you cancel before the Paid In Full date.

Concierge deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another cruise. One note about that, you can change your reservation from a Concierge room to a "regular" room, but the deposit will still remain non-refundable, if you you try to cancel that reservation at at later date.

You can cancel after the PIF date with a sliding scale of how much will be returned (based on how far out you are from the cruise).

To cancel, you must do so by phone or written.
