canceling room-only reservation/ADRs

Hi everyone,

I am going to the world in January 09 and plan on staying in a deluxe resort for 2 nights and then moving to a DVC villa (using rented points) for the rest of the week.

My question is about the ADRs. My 180th day is fast approaching and I want to make all my ADRs for the entire trip on the 180th day out. I know I can do180+10 ADRs if I have a room booked, but will they allow me to do the rest of the trip (the DVC villa) that I have yet to arrange? Or will Disney Dining limited me to ADRs for the two nights I am booked into the Poly?

If they want to limit me, can I make a booking at the Poly for the 7 nights and then cancel 5 of those nights or will that also cancel those 5 ADRs?

I am not 100% sure (because I don't ever make dining reservations exactly at 180 days) but I think you will be limited to those 2 days. Otherwise, anyone could say they are going to be staying on site, honestly, swear to god, and then stay off site.

But you can book the Polynesian for the full seven days and then cancel the five you don't need. Your dining reservations are not going to be canceled after you do that. They aren't tied into the resort except for that +10 day thing.
