Canceling reservation with borrowed points

I have made a reservation for June and used some borrowed points for 2013. If I have to canel the reservation, what will happen to the points?

You didn't state your use year, so I can't give you a specific expiration date.

The rule is that unless you use them before the end of the use year into which they were borrowed, they will expire and be lost to you. Borrowed points cannot be returned to their original use year.

you can only move pts between use years with banking and borrowing one time and one time only.

so if you borrowed pts, they will stay in the use year they were borrowed into. they cannot be put back into their original UY. you'd have to either use them for a stay by the end of their new UY or lose them.
