I made ressies for ASMo from Dec. 1 - Dec. 6 (Sat), but my DH has decided he would like to leave a day earlier and stop by the beach for a couple of days on the way home. If I call tomorrow (Nov. 28) will I still be charged for next Friday night? I've only paid our one nights deposit, so does anyone know how this will be handled? Just wondering.

I hope I explained that well! Thanks!:wave2:

That shouldn't be a problem in most cases. Did you purchase a package or room only? Call CRO and say that you need to change the dates for your stay. If they make a big production say thank you and call back and talk with another CM.

If you have a standard room only reservation without a package, you can even just wait until you leave and check out a day early. I have had to do that in the past and it was no problem.

I recently had to take two days off of our upcoming trip and had no problem at all. I just told the CM I needed to change my arrival date, she did and gave me my new total. I got my new confirmation in the mail a few days later.

As long as you have a room only ressie, canceling one night should be easy. If you get a CM that says they can't do it, hang up and call again.

because we do not know the exact dates/ length of our stay yet the Cm told me if we are leaving earlier than expected tell them at check in..she *did* say that was cause we would be there longer than 5 days... or they will charge for the days you do not use ( according to her) so you should be fine to tell them at check in but I would not wait till check out just in case she is right or you get a Cm that read the same stuff she did!

If you wait until you check out you would have already paid for the room. I was there for a convention and the boss decided to switch to an offsite hotel. Since I had paid I had to wait for a credit to appear on my credit card bill.

So take care of it ahead of time and you shouldn't have any problems.
