Canceling Feb 2022 - ticket question

I had purchased a two-day ticket for use during a February 2022 trip. We now have to cancel that trip. I've canceled the the park reservations for the two days. However, will I be able to use those tickets in the future. Right now the system states:
"2-Day Ticket with Admission to 1 Park Per Day
Age: 10+
Valid: Wed, Feb 23, 2022 – Sat, Feb 26, 2022
Theme Park Admission: Any 2 of the Valid Dates"

I've tried to "Change Ticket" but the system returns an error message (and wants me to call Disney or try later). Just want to make sure I won't lose the tickets - since I canceled the park reservations I had during that time frame, I was hoping the tickets would default back to no particular dates (and could, therefore, be used in the future).

Hope I'm not going to lose the $$ for the tickets. TIA

You will not lose the value of your ticket. When you’re ready to rebook, you can apply the value to the purchase of a new ticket. We just went through this…

If you don't pick a new date before your current use dates, the tickets will disappear from your app. You'll have to call Disney ticket services to make use of your ticket credit.
If you pick a more expensive day in the future you'll have to pay the difference. If you still have your email confirmation from your ticket purchase I recommend you hang on to that.
