Canceling ADR

I have a Hungry Bear F! reservation for Friday night. I just tried to cancel it (Wednesday night) and it said I am too late to cancel via on line or on the App. Is this a system glitch or is canceling now 48 hours in advance not 24?
 
No, that is a glitch unless you accidentally had the date wrong on the reservation? Can you try on a computer? You actually have up to 11:59pm the night before to cancel, doesn’t have to be a full 24 hours.

Thanks for your quick reply. I think it is a glitch. I just tried to cancel a Saturday ADR and it said the same thing. I'll try again in the morning.
 
The dining reservation system is currently down for maintenance (for both DLR and WDW). Not sure when it will be back up. Started at 9pm Pacific time. For a screen shot of the message see the first post in this thread.
 

I canceled BB this morning at 5am for a tomorrow 5pm reservation,, so something was awry with the ap.
 
It’s a glitch. I’ve had the same issue since the end of September for reservations in November. I’ve asked multiple times in the chat on the app for help. Nothing ever gets resolved. They finally gave me a phone number.

“I have re-submitted the cancelation request for both reservations. If you continue to see them, please call Guest Information and Ticket Sales at 714-781-4636.”

I need to call now but am dreading being on hold for hours. I just want to make sure my reservations are cancelled so I don’t get charged a no show fee.

That is very odd. I've made and cancelled several dining reservations for my November trip online.
 
Yes. I have never ever had this happen before. I called today and the CM said my reservations should drop off tomorrow. I’m not holding my breath. I’ve been trying to get this fixed since the end of September. My reservations are for 11/21 and 11/22. Long before the cut off to cancel. Beyond frustrating. Even more frustrating that’s there is no direct dining line to get help.
 
Ok, here’s an update. I called the number. The CM put in a request again. This time she added the confirmation number from the cancellation email. This was on Friday. She said the same thing all the chat CMs say, they should drop off the next day. Well, it’s Tuesday and they’re still on there. I’m beyond frustrated about this. I have to call back again but honestly don’t think anything will come from it. I miss being able to call a dining phone number for help. And I will be all sorts of irritated if they charge me a no show fee.
