Canceling a Reservation

I double booked 2 breakfast reservations, but now I am ready to cancel one. I know I am being paranoid, but I want to make sure the right reservation is cancelled. Should I do it online or over the phone? Share your experience!

Online will prompt you to be sure you want to cancel before it does. I would rather do it that way and blame myself than the CM if I screw it up. And even if you did screw it up, it will be most likely right there to pick up again.

OMG, tell me you didn't really write that you double booked a reservation, I hope people are nice to you when they reply. But online is easy, it will ask you if you really want to cancel it and when you say yes, poof, its gone! And you will get an email saying you cancelled it too.

Yes, I really did write that I double booked a reservation for our August trip! We weren't sure which park we were going to, so I did so using my credit card. I am canceling it now online.

I had to laugh when I saw your question but even more surprising is the lack of not so nice responses to it, must be a slow day on the Disboards. I have seen some heated conversations about double booking, I was afraid to even mention a couple that I had before my last trip. I didn't really double book a the same time but within a few hours of each other, and that was months before the trip, once I had the park hours and all the plans fell into place I cancelled everything but the ones I was keeping, and even cancelled a few when we were there when we found something else to our liking such as Beaches and Cream instead of Captains Grille And might I add, Beaches and Cream lived up to all the hype about it if you need any ideas for meals
