Canceling a Cabana

Has anyone every changed their mind while on the cruise and cancelled their cabana? We have one booked for SB for my elderly parents. (only way to get them off the ship due to mobility issues). If they decide to not go to the beach and if Disney could get someone else from our cruise to book, it would we still be charged? Thanks in advance!

You can cancel your cabana at any time.

However, unless you've cancelled it more than 3 days prior to the start of your cruise, you will be charged for it.

That being said, if you cancel while onboard, and DCL can "resell" it (quite likely, but not for sure), you won't be charged.

Thank you for your reply! I think I might not know until we are ON the ship whether or not they will get off the ship at CC... If it ends up being just DH and I we wouldn't want the Cabana.

Absolutely yes in our experience. Seen it several times. We once talked to the concierge team when we got on and they said they would be delighted to have it. My advice is to talk with someone (shore excursions, concierge) as soon as possible so they have the ability to sprinkle some pixie dust on someone else's cruise.
