Why? That face isn't meant to be sarcastic, it's the when they forecast 40% chance of rain and non locals think it's going to happen for sure face. Again, rain in FL is VERY rarely an all day thing. Look at your hourly forecast and see what that looks like. Check in about 3 or 4 hours. Trust me when I tell you do NOT cancel. Find a shop or go to Cosmic Rays and hang out and enjoy that "free" breakfast!

You still live in TN right? You know how often they get our weather right? Less than 20% I'd guess (still looking for the several inches of snow we are getting this winter, oh wait winter is over, Lol)
Would you cancel something based on our weather? I don't and wouldn't. Not till it's falling from the sky

What??!! Preach it Angi! That must be nice! If I were wrong as much in my teaching as they are in weather predictions...I would NOT STILL be a teacher.

I do have to clarify a point, I don't begrudge the weathermen, trying to predict what Mother Nature is planning to do. She's fickle as you know what and prone to do whatever the heck she wants, regardless as to what the weathermen think she's supposed to be doing. And she never consults them about what to do, before she does it, LOL

I think for what they have to work with, they do a darn good job. I just happen to think it's a toss-up as to if it's going to be right or if it's going to be wrong.

I will also add to this. My first WDW trip on our first day my now husband and I went to Typhoon Lagoon while my friends went to Mini Golf. It poured on them at Mini Golf and was sunny at Typhoon Lagoon the whole day. So you also never know where the rain will be. I am a poncho and keep going kind of person though.

We walked into the park and were the very first people there. Never had that happen before. It was just so magical. We were seated before 8 am, ate and in line at Soarin at 8:35. Come 8:40 they let us in. Got in two rides on Soarin and was done with those at 9:03. I hope I am wrong here but I do feel as though Disney may try to cash in on this ability to "score" an extra fast pass or two for Soarin with this breakfast meal in the future. That is just my gut feeling on that.
