Cancel dining reservation question

In March I am going to make our dining reservations. I am going to make them all for7 people. Three of those people are not sure they can go and won't know till June. Will I be able to cancel 3 people and still keep our times, or will they cancel the whole reservation and will I have to re book?

Unfortunately they will cancel the reservation and rebook it if there is availability.
