Hello
I have a question. if i have to cancel a cruise ( before the Pay in Full date) i will get my money back ? and will it be back on my payment card? If i use more then one, will disney split it to every card i used?

Thanks

Oliver

Assuming a non-concierge booking and prior to the official PIF date -- yes, you should get a full refund. It will be returned to the method(s) of payment used, so if you used 2 different credit cards it will go to each; if you used gift cards and credit cards, it will go back to each in appropriate amounts.

Not sure it matters, but I'd be sure to check and make sure your Placeholder gets put back if you used one. We requested my Placeholder back before it expired - called multiple times and each time they said it was credited to my credit card on X date. That refund NEVER came thru and I quit calling as I figured I was out the money and many miserable hours on hold already. Now if I'm not sure which cruise to take I lean AWAY from DCL. I like to think their keeping my Placeholder costs them money too, and make sure to tell everyone they kept our money, I can be petty that way ;)

The $250 for the placeholder should have been applied to the actual cruise date as part of the deposit. Were you not refunded the full amount you had paid to date? That would include the placeholder amount.

The placeholder itself cancels if the cruise is canceled. You cannot get it back unless you change the cruise date instead of cancel.

We have cancelled several cruises booked with placeholders. Always got the refund for the placeholder. I think I would keep calling until I got it figured out!

We cancelled a cruise booked with a placeholder we paid for with a credit card. The remainder of the deposit was paid with a DGC. After we cancelled, the refunds went back to their respective sources, CC for the placeholder and GC for the rest of the deposit.
