So DH and I re thinking about making a trip to Montreal for our anniversary and to see the new show Totem that looks great. Never been to Montreal. I've been reading alot and it seems we will want to stay in either the neighborhoods of Old Montreal and the Port or Downtown. We will be there 3 full days, arriving on a wednesday night and leaving on a Sunday. Should we worry about being close to where Cirque performs or would another location be better since we will be doing other things as well? We don't mind walking, aren't really interested in the nightlife, but do enjoy historic buildings, museums and the great outdoors. Would like to maybe stay in a smaller hotel or bed and breakfast and will be flying in. Would we need a car?
I just think Montreal sounds beautiful and interesting and how fun to see a brand new Cirque show in the city where it all started.
Thanks for your help!!!
Okay not sure why the title is so weird. It was supposed to say Canadian friends not that whatever up there. I can spell but sometimes my computer does weird stuff without my knowledge.
