Canadians who have had MBs, should I change my shipping address to the resort address

Today is my last day to customize MBs, just wondering if I should get them shipped to the resort? I know the system is supposed to work that if you're outside the US they will have your customized bands at the resort when you check in but I have read lots of Canucks changing their shipping address to be a US address.

Advice? MUCH appreciated, thanks!

I would just leave it alone. I'm testing magic bands at Pop right now. I customized my bands three weeks before my trip. My status was always listed as shipping soon, but my customized bands were waiting for me at Pop.

I just returned yesterday. We had a room only reservation for 2 days and then a 9 day package. We did not change our address but both sets of bands were waiting for us at Pop.

I would second the suggestion not to change your address. There are many other documents Disney may mail to you (including PINS) and you'd hate to miss any of that!

I had to change my address to the resort -only for the MB verification - but that's because the site crashed with my information.

According to their tech support, there are lots of Canadian addresses that can't be validated by the system - a patch is being implemented, but it wouldn't let us verify.

Once we changed it to the resort address, everything worked and we could customize the bands.

I was told that no matter what address is listed, if it's in Canada they will be waiting at the resort.
