Canadians in WDW in March 2010

Crap the weather is up and down.
My brother (from NB) arrived there yesterday and when I looked at the weather this morning I was thinking "chilly" it was 42 this morning which is like what...6 degrees!!! o.k it's 3 degrees here this morning.
We intentionally didn't go in january as we wanted heat like we had march break before.....
I am NOT packing anything until next week when I get a better idea of the weather for our dates. I only wanted to wear 1 pair of pants and only bring shorts. The good thing is I can wear shorts and sandals for sure and just pack a couple extra LLBean fleece to layer.
whatever the weather we will all be having fun and loving disney so :lovestruc to all.
10 sleeps!!!

mollyseven: I agree with you, I thought about packing this week but I think I'll wait until the day or two before. The Weather Network says it's going to be a high of 16 to 21 degrees this week which isn't too bad and we won't be melting! A friend of mine went two weeks ago and said they closed the water park because it was just too cold.

alright I just confirmed my garden grocer order and cut my chain for today ..... ahhhh can't wait.
I have my priceline 35.00 hotel for buffalo airport and my airport parking coupon printed.
I just want to buy some of those laundry soap/dryer sheets that I saw at walmart to take and then I am pretty much there.

what will i do for 10 more sleeps!!

Placing my garden grocer order tonight. 4 days to go !:cool1:
Whats up with the Buffalo airport parking pass ? We were looking at staying in preferred parking long term-does this coupon apply-where can I get it ?

Thanks

WE LEAVE WED THE 10th FROM BUFFALO, LONG RANGE FOR ORLANDO IS SUPPOSED TO BE AROUND 70 NEXT WEEK, HOPE THEY ARE RIGHT. BUT WE ARE CRAZY CANUCKS WE GO SWIMMING THERE AT NIGHT EVEN IF IN 40s.

Mollyseven - is this like a travel pack laundry soap? When you combine three boys with Mickey Ice Cream bars it's pretty much a guarantee that we'll be doing some wash :rotfl2:

I'm waiting to pack too....perhaps in denial? Trying not to stress about cold weather, but really we Canadians do hope to escape the cold at this time of year. We went last spring break and it was lovely, but now I'm debating on how many pairs of pants and warm tops will be needed.

Anyone have anymore info on what the weather is right now? I know we still have a few days for it to get better. Here's to hoping!:flower3:

We're also going for March break. We went last year and it was crazy, so I'm expecting it to be the same this year. We get to the parks at rope drop and stay until after lunch before heading back to the hotel.

We're staying at the Beach Club Villas. :cool1: The weather better be nice enough to enjoy the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree Ted! It can't be that cold, after all, it IS Florida!

We were just there for marathon weekend and it snowed. Low temp was -3 on Sat and Sun. High temp was 12 the day we left. Still went swimming every day and the hot tub felt great. Stayed in it over an hour each time.

Oh yeah, we will be there the 13th-20th at our beloved VWL.

Just one week till we hit the road. I hate sleeping in the van but it is so worth it. We check in to the THV in 9 days.

Way cool! We'll be arriving to SSR on the same day, but are thinking that we are going to get in on Sat. night, so we might there a wee bit earlier!

Can't wait! Have a fab trip, Tiger :)

I am here right now---it's 41 degrees out there! Never known it to be sooooo frosty at this time of year but they are saying it should begin to warm middle of next week! I will hope so for all you March Breakers!!:thumbsup2

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........................

I just checked the Weather Network website and it says it is going to go from 17 today up to 24 by Wednesday. There is hope for those of us there for March Break!

We leave wed afternoon and we are hoping for warmer weather. We are staying at okw near hh so we could be near the pool. I guess being canadian we can grin and bear it in the pool if its cool.

We are sitting in Buffalo right now.......waiting for our flight out in morning!!! YEEHAW!!! Here's to hoping for a great flight, and some awesome weather, and great Florida memories!! Safe travels to all March Break travellers. It was very busy at the Peace Bridge today, about a 45 min wait!

About the laundry things....
It's Purex 3in1 and I got them at Walmart
They were 6.97 I believe for 20 sheets.
They are like a large flat thicker dryer sheet and you put it in the wash with the clothes and then also right into the dryer with them and its a dryer sheet also.
I tried them at home and they are great plus they pack up soooo easy and they smell great.
I have them in a freezer bag waiting for the luggage and the whole room smells good, just don't put them in the same luggage as any food I would say cause the smell is very strong (nice but I don't want my timmies coffee smelling like laundry soap)

2 sleeps!!
