Canadians choose Disneyworld

Perhaps not a surprise to Disers, in a survey, Canadians chose Disneyworld as the 2nd most preferred destination (after the Pyramids in Egypt). Check out the full article from the Toronto Star:

Forty some days for me. I get to visit my daughter who teaches in Cairo, and rides horses in the desert next to the pyramids on a regular basis.

I've been to both and would rather go to Disney World. Sure Cairo is cheaper and when you visit there you're rolling like a rich person but there is so much poverty there you have people trying to sell you things and scam you relentlessly. Plus it's very hot and the food and water will make you sick (diarhea...good times). That said theres no place else in the world like it. I will probably go back but I'd never take my kids there (traffic is super scary).

I worked with a French Immersion/Core French teacher her in PEI who is now in Egypt and comments on riding horses in the desert near the pyramids. Too funny. The last comment I saw was riding the desert in a school bus.

I only caught the episode where he was in Russia and I laughed the whole time! What a great and entertaining show
