Canadian WDW Ticket Company?

Hi there,

I searched for this but didn't find anything… are there any companies in Canada that sell WDW tickets (kind of like undercover tourist does in the US)? With the dollar being as low as it is and then on top of that my credit card company charging me an exchange fee… its adding up quite quickly and I was hoping to avoid it.

I am not sure about WDW tickets but flightcenter.ca had DL tix.

There is Maple Leaf Tickets but I think they do USD only. Or a Cdn travel agent?

I will check that out! Thank you! I didn't think I would be able to buy just tickets through places like that, so I didn't even think about those places! I'm trying to be at the mercy of where our dollar will be at next year. So I'm attempting to only book my hotel through Disney and that will be my only American expense. Saving spending money and money for food instead of the dining plan this year, and flights will be in Canadian. Hopefully it works out!

Ya, I looked at them all and they were very comparable with Disney even when the exchange rate was factored in POFQ was actually more expensive through Expedia. I will keep an eye on it though!

I just compared my Universal Tickets from Undercover Tourist using the mousesavers discount to expedia.ca's cdn prices.

Undercover Tourist tix - $961.07 USD
today's exchange rate of 1.2430 per Bank of Canada
Cost in Cdn dollars - $1,194.61
add 2.5% for cc forex fees, total in Cdn dollars is $1,224.48

Expedia.ca - $1,259.03

Closer in cost than I thought it would be.

If you use ebates you can get 5% cash back on activities right now, not sure if that makes a big difference to your calcs.

I noticed that too but then it also says no cash back for event tickets and I wondered what theme park tickets would be classified as.

YMMV but Disneyland tickets through Orbitz are classified as "Activities" and when you go to Expedia and go to the "Things to Do" page, it does say "Search Activities" and WDW tickets show up.

But, as before, YMMV and ebates can be tricksy to deal with sometimes!

And don't forget gives you an additional 1% cash back too! I love those $20 credits every time I hit $2k in spend.

And +1 for UT tickets. Only place I use.

I got ours thru Airmiles and UT. When I bought my DD5 5 days ticket, I only paid for 4 days (promotion). Even with a disastrous CDN$ it was worth it to go with them.

I think CAA sells them.

Gonna piggyback onto this thread for a similar question - I will probably need to buy a 2-day pass for my MiL (rest of us have no-expire passes) and so buying from UT et al would actually cost more than the face value. Do the Disney Stores in Canada still sell park tickets at whatever the going rate is?
