Just purchased the Canadian Resident Ticket Offer. Do I have to show my Passport (would Driver's License work) each time we enter? I don't normally carry my passport with me. Any experience with these tickets? Do I have to go to the ticket booth with the email to actually get my tickets.

I think a drivers license would work. We showed our passport at the ticket booth when picking up our actual tickets because that was the best ID we had for the kids. We walked over the day we got there, picked up the tickets, and then packed the passports away in our room. We didn't have to show ID again. I'm not sure how it works if you bought the tickets online or already have them. I would guess you show ID on your first entry and then are good to go.

I would agree with the above poster. Once they've verified your nationality I don't think they'd need to do it each entry. To tag on to this thread did you purchase maxpass as well?

On the Canadian forum, it was mentioned that you need to show your passport at the turnstiles the first time you enter the park with those tickets. I just got my second DLR ticket from Airmiles and it's part of the Canadian special price (saved 600 AM compared to the other ticket I got in October before the promotion was announced) and we are planning on having our passports with us the first morning. I don't want to risk it and have to go back to the hotel to get it, even if we are staying at BWPPI. Now I need to figure out how where I will keep our passports while we are in the park...

When we went this past August we were required to show our passports at the turnstiles on the first day. ID was not required after that.

When we went in October, they just asked for it when we first entered, took our photo and we didn't need any ID after that. One person in our group they didn't take her photo so she did have to show ID when she went over to DCA late that day, but then once her photo was attached to her ticket she was fine.

What is the ticket offer?

25% off on 3 days and up tickets for Canadian residents so you need a passport as proof of Canadian citizenship. The discount compensate a little for our dollar exchange rate.
