Canadian resident ticket & blackout dates

Hi..I am looking at the Canadian resident discounted tickets. Travelling Dec. 20th-30th. There are blackout dates of Dec 24-31. Does anyone know if I buy a 10 day ticket and start using it on the 20th will it still work on the blackout dates or will it just stop working on those dates? Thanks

You’ll be denied park entry on the blackout dates unless you pay to upgrade to a regular ticket. I wouldn’t try it.
