Canadian only promotion

Do you think WDW will have a Canadian only free dining promotion in 2013?

Do you remember when the announcement was made last year?

I dont' remember a Canadian free dining offer but I got in on free dining for Jan 2012 on Aug 3, 2011 not sure why disney is waiting so long this year.

Sad thing is the free dining is already out for international guest they just don't consider us international.

If I recall from last year FD will come out for Disney Visa holders first which again we get s*******ed out of since we can't get them here.

Hope it comes out soon, I am going Jan 8 - 19th for marathon weekend and really would end some FD again.

I did get in on that deal, and was able to book a bounceback offer for next year with free dining for the same time period, but we are hoping to bring a family along with us, so are awaiting the announcement as well.

we did the same for next year. BTW you could have booked another roomwith bounce back. We have 2 rooms booked for next year.

When Disney first introduced the promotion they accidentally included arrivals that included Friday March 9th and Saturday March 10th 2012. A number of Canadians (at least those in Ontario) were able to get free dining for their March break because an arrival on Sat March 9th meant free-dining for the week. A handful of days after the promotion was introduced Disney switched the arrival dates to March 3rd - 8th and March 23rd - 29th. I'm guessing there won't be free dining for March Break 2013.

Mine defaults to the Main US page, but I notice that I have the Canadian deals when I choose special offers. For us Canadians, we can still book the free dining for this fall, but the link for it is not on the main US page. So I'm on the US page, but listed as English Canadian. Does that make sense?

I dont think the deal we booked was exclusively for Canadians but we got free dining at the end of August. I believe the deal came out in April and we booked before June.

That's always great. I wish I'd been able to travel when it was on. The deal expired in the US, but they're still letting Canadians book it though. So if anyone else can travel....
