Canadian My Points member question

I just emailed My Points because I want to redeem my points for our upcoming Disney trip, and so I asked what redemptions Canadians could make (please see email response). The problem is that I don't know where they got this information from since it doesn't say that they are for Canadians, in fact, this exact list can be found under the Quicklist by Partner section of their website. Plus, I clicked on Vacation Miles Awards Travel Catalogue which is one of the ones listed below, and they will only ship within the US! I emailed My Points again for clarification, but does anyone know anything about this? Have any Canadian members redeemed any points lately (besides Giftcertificates.ca), if so, which redemptions did you make?

Hi! I can't answer your question completely, but I can tell you that dh and I always cashout for home depot gift certificates. You get gift cards in American dollars but they can be used in Canadian stores. HTH!

Home Depot is on the list, so I guess that's one that will work for sure. Plus, Home Depot is one of the certificates that can be redeemed through giftcertificates.ca so I would suspect that it wouldn't be a problem. I have only cashed out for Rainforest Cafe certificates, and that is currently on the list that they sent me as well. I am waiting for a reply from them as to how us Canadians are supposed to know which offers we can redeem for. I think that there are two issues here:

1. Mailing - they don't want to mail the redemption awards to Canadian addresses

2. Most offers aren't applicable in Canada, which is why they've drastically changed the program for My Points Canadian members. I get maybe 3 Bonus Mail offers a month now, whereas I used to get 3-4 per day! Each time I email they say that they are trying to add more Canadian offers, but I don't hold much hope in this.
