I am a Canadian Mom and I am looking to work from home. I am looking for advice and direction. Ideally I would like to work ten to fifteen hours. I am looking for a reliable and reputable company. I am bilingual (french and english) and a college graduate. Where to look? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help.

A friend of mine works for a company called ICUC. Basically, it is an internet moderation company. You can apply through their website. However, the pay is only $10/hr.
I do not really know of any other legit companies.
What program did you take in college?

Another option is consider becoming a mortgage broker. You can work from home and work at your own pace, but recognize you only get paid on deals you do. I'm a real estate agent and while I work from home, I still need to leave the house evening's and weekends, but my brother is a mortgage broker and he doesn't have to leave his house, although he prefers to work out of an office which is what he does. A mortgage broker makes about .5% to 0.75% or so of the dollar value of the mortgage. So a $300,000 mortgage will earn you about $1500-$2250.

I've been looking for something out of home for over a year now. It'd been a rough time, and I even went back to school hoping it would help!!! I would love to hear about any experience anyone has with Contract Exchange, or anything else.

Are you in Ont? I know Starwood in St Thomas has work at home positions taking hotel reservations. It takes time to get a work at home position though. Only specialty departments mostly work from home and you don't get into a specialty department until you've risen through the ranks and proven you can do the entry level jobs. You have to be close enough to commute in for meetings and training ocassionally too and have a home office free of distractions set up.

I'm in London, actually, so that would be perfect!!! Thanks for the tip!

I wish I lived closer. That would be a two hour drive to St. Thomas.
Anyone have experience with contract exchange or any similar companies?

I would love to hear about some more companies as well. I'm a SAHM who does before & after school care.

It's tough to find any kind of position when you have no vehicle during the day and only 5 1/2 free hours (9-2:30pm). Work at home would be perfect!

Oh me to!! I do home daycare but this is my last year. I have done 12 years and am trying to find a stay at home job so i can be here with my youngest daughter still! Any and all advice will be great!

have you thought of things like massage therapist, reiki treatments, helping kids and adults with learning and other stuff like that?

I live in Laval, Qc and I work from home. I do tarot card readings, numerology, past life regressions and reiki treatments and I also give courses. Some weeks are good and some are null ! But I'm home!

Good luck to all.
