Canadian Dollar

I think it is pretty bad. The last time I went to DW we were at par. Now I need $1.28 to buy an American dollar. Plus an extra 3% for credit card fees when you pay Disney online (most credit cards charge a fee to exchange funds even if you pay off your balance each month). So my trip will be substantially more expensive. That's close to 30% more. Last time I was able to get free dining as well which brought my trip price down. So without any great discount and the usuall price increases my trip is going to be quite a bit more than my last.
The loonie fell again today with no signs of stopping... Not looking good for us Canadians. :(

Agreed. Looking to book flights soon through Southwest (we are 4.5 hours from Buffalo, so will cross border and fly out of there rather than Toronto prices; plus we find Buffalo airport easier to navigate). IF we are lucky, we will get 4 flights round trip for about $1000 US... but that's about $1300 Canadian ... that is substantially more expensive! :crazy2:

We might just stay at a Moderate resort instead of a Deluxe to save some money in July. I am waiting to book after the summer deals are announced. Also we will drive to WDW and take advantage of the low gas prices.
I'm trying to plead my case to DH that it can be done regardless of the dollar, we just have to cut some corners.
