Does anyone recall the last time there was a discount for us? Or what kind of discount it was? I noticed on Mousesavers there has been previous Canadian resident discounts but it doesn't say what they were.

In 2004 when we started going they had at par with using your visa in Canada. You had to be a canadian citizen and the total bill had to be put on your visa card. We did that and it was really good. Since then we usually use the CAA deal. That is getting your base ticket with the hopper and water free:yay: :yay: but has to be used during certain times of the year. Last year you had to go from after January 10th to 1st week in March. This year nothing has come up yet except the discounts for room only. :sad1: I never have used the extra perks that CAA offer like the princess story telling or the mini golf buy one get one free. The first year we went they gave us 2 lanyards with 3 pins each per package and the kids loved them and have been collecting ever since. You also get a free drink (1 per person) in the CAA cooling stations in MK but have never used them either. I like my travel agent and have booked with her since the 2nd year going.:woohoo:

To get the "At Par" deal would be no biggie anymore....because they reckon within a matter of days our dollars' will be at par !

I clearly remember Disney offering a discounted package for Canadian and UK residents, that was valid for January 2007. Since we had only just returned from a trip to WDW in December 2006 when the deal was announced, I did not pay attention to the particulars.

Sorry :confused3

The package mentioned in the above quote was a free "Park hopper" and a free "Water parks and more" promotion for Jan-Feb 2007. They had the special available to Canadians (they only gave the special to people with Canadian addresses) for a few weeks before opening it up to people outside of Canada. I remember calling Disney the second we found out about it so we could take advantage of the offer for our Jan 2007 trip (and we did!) :)

I am afarid I can't speak for the discounts for UK residents since I did not keep track of them.
