Canadian Cruisers and their Docs

I was just wondering how far in advance DCL sends the docs to their Cdn cruisers? How will they send them? Anyone have any experience dealing with DCL directly?

Hi, I have booked all three directly with Disney. Have always received them ups here in Montreal.

I Have received them 2 months out, to as close as 2 weeeks out..

Hopefully that helps a tad...

My parents are in Montreal and we are in Ontario so your info is very helpful.
I can now tell my Mom to expect UPS at some time ringing her door. (She wouldn't answer the door otherwise.)

Just curious when you received them 2 weeks out was it because you received an upgrade? Sorry for being nosy...

Unfortunately we were never lucky enough for an upgrade. This was because of a more last minute than usual cruise...

Although my dh just reminded me that in September our documents were left at the door without UPS even ringing. I always thought they had to get a signature, but apparently not. SO the next time, I will be on the lookout, it makes me nervous.......

By the way, no need to apologize, I am very nosey here....

We are on the Feb 13th Wonder and I havn't gotten my docs - I think this is a bit of a mix-up and I will be calling Disney tommorrow - I actually forgot I was supposed to get anything up until about a week ago

I was stressing a bit, but I posted and was advised that worst case scenario I can fill out the forms at the port - don't really want to do that but at least I won't be 'up the creek'

We got out about 6 weeks out. UPS delivered them but I was downstairs when they were ringing the doorbell. Thought I could hear something and when I did come up he had left them in the mailbox and was already in his truck. Was glad I was home though.

Thanks for mentioning that UPS could just leave them at the door. Our kids don't know about our late February cruise, but now at least I know to check the door quickly when I arrive home with the kids from school.
