(Can you guess which TR I've already opened?)
Not much there, but I've got a bit of warm fuzzy going.
I thought things were settling down, but noooooooooooo. 3 days of FULL stuff this week.
On a brighter note, I have the entire next week off except for a bit of lecture
so I imagine a little action over there again.
Which also makes me pretty darned happy.
Did you watch it through to the end?
I'll have to go back and watch that part. Was tough to watch that part.
I knew he had died, but still.
Good!And... yes... great song and it did put me in vacay mode.
I was going too but Little MIss was getting into mischief and I only watched long enough to verify it was what I was actually looking for.
I'll have to go back and watch that part.
Jaw dropping in 3... 2... 1.
I wanted to post some stuff too, but never had any unmonitored time, and I didn't want to have to explain why I was looking at pictures of pillow fights and such.![]()

Ah well... wasted opportunity.
Tell Fran it's for a good cause.
'Cause it is.
Hey! I resemble that remark!I would normally associate this kind of incitement with Carrie.
He'll really like the Ariel one!
And also... <whimper>
What's this? Someone handing me an envelope?
<opens envelope>
The award for the DISer who knows me the best of all goes to
(drumroll please)... @Saturn23!
It was an... interesting trip, to be sure.
Why? Well, for that, I'll have to give you a bit of background first.
And I won't do that now.
Let's make that chapter 1 shall we?
I'm guess I'm glad I didn't watch all the way to the end. I must have sensed that it was going to be tough. I watched a lot of it, but then for some reason turned it off, I must have sensed what was coming at the end.
Well, it's a matter of opinion, I knew it was but would have had a hard time pleading my case. I've learned, pick your battles, and that wasn't one to fight....
Hey! I resemble that remark!
I've pulled a muscle again! Hurts to type.
I thought so, that's why I put her last![]()
Thanks!! I'm taking my award and running away with it before you change your mind!
The suspense is killin' me!!
Uh, huh.
clothes
toothbrush...
Maybe Passports? US cash? Car rental agreement? Car rental insurance? Hotel info?
Sunglasses? GPS? Camera? Camera charger? iPod? iPod charger?
Please drivel away, cause I'm a fool for you!Oh, right. You people are foolish enough to want me to write
even more drivel.
6?! I can't even think of that many devices to hold photos. Do you have that many cameras?Oh. Also have to download photos from...
count 'em, 6... that's six devices!
Oh, hey. I finished your Europe TR! At least, to the end of the trip, not quite the end of the chatter.
Ah, Venice. Now I want to go back.
I definitely agree about needing to just wander around and get lost there - my friend and I did a bit of that. We didn't do much of the expensive touristy things, however - broke college students. So, we settled for the big vaporettos, esp since we stayed at the youth hostel on a different island (I forget the name).
No one did try any scams on us, but my friend did get a pair of sunglasses stolen in Naples.
We also were swarmed by a group of Gypsy kids in Rome while checking a map, and I swatted at them with my jeans jacket and they went away.
I pretty much knew your back was going to go out, but it was definitely more dramatic reading the whole story!
A friend of mine once called me from his bathroom when he threw out his back. Thankfully, he was able to get out and unlock the door so I could take him to the doctor!
The Girl Scout cookie conversation was quite amusing, since we are finishing up cookie season here. But, there are 2 different bakers, and our council uses the other one, so I've never had Lemonades or Thanks-a-Lots!
Out of breath trying to catch up.
New to the party so I did a speed read through the pre trip and comments.
On our trip to Hawaii, I decided to pack my clothes early in the morning before the taxi came. Didn't work out so well. I woke to the phone ringing and it was the cab driver outside the house. Oops. Luckily the important stuff like passports, itinerary, cameras, dive gear, cash... were already packed.
Who needs clothes?
