Well, for the three of you that are still reading...
For the two of you....
For you...
Here I think you're writing this just for me and I find all these others who are reading along! Well I NEVER! Hrumph!
Well, I'm not that patient.
If I hadn't been in a few years, I would've told her
"I'm heading out"
I face this battle on a constant basis. At DL I don't mind taking things slow. At WDW I don't mind going a little slow, but I often find myself stuck in the roomorning and I don't want to be the inappreciative spouse, but then again it's Disney I don't get to see much. Even exploring the resort is exciting and often that's what I do.
I believe it was on day three or four that Ruby revolted.
Her happiest day that trip
was when she stayed at the resort and did laundry.
I'm not kidding.
I know it's different because we have DVC points and "have" to keep going back, but I actually plan laundry day into my trips. It doesn't hurt that the machine is in my room and this next trip I'm making meatloaf, mac and cheese and green beans while we stay in for the night. But I can kind of relate. I've also been on Star Tours and Hyperspace Mountain four times in the last month.
I don't mind vegetables now. Some I even like.
I like some, but it seems we have differing tastes.
I'd eat canned beans (flavourless... probably why I ate them.)
Blech. Not flavorless. They taste like the formaldehyde they are stored in!
Carrots were okay, even though my Mom's preferred way of cooking
all veggies was to boil them until they were reduced to mush.
Raw carrots OK. Cooked to mush ick. My mom was on the other end of the spectrum. She would randomly go vegetarian on me during my childhood. Still she only purchases produce at the farmer's market and ate the leftover cruidite from Thanksgiving as her lunch one of the days while visiting.
With enough butter or cheese, I think it's good!
Cauliflower? Double blech.
I agree with you here!
Don't get me started with asparagus.
Oh man, roasted in olive oil with salt and pepper, delicious!
And then there was.... Brussels sprouts.
I may have only tried them once. They tasted like cabbage. I've heard when cooked with bacon they are ggod, bit I have no experience. Fran won't let me bring them in the house.
"You're not leaving the table until you've finished your plate!"
How horrible a pronouncement that is!
It is. My mom was nice. She learned that often children with a predesposition to a dislike of a particular food often has an allergy to that food, so actually after a few years of trying to keep us at the table until we finidhed, she gave up. I think we also outlasted her. We were stubborn .
My cat. My loyal, loving cat...
Had thrown me under the proverbial bus.
As loving as they are, they will unwittingly do that.
But to this day...
When I think of Disney.
I think of TV trays, Sunday night dinners and... Brussels sprouts.
Who woulda thunk?
Yay!
Well, considering it was my first real breakfast at Disney....
Uh.... possibly ever... Yeah. They were good.
Really????? We have a few must have Disney breakfasts! But not must have every trip.
"You know." She said. "The VIP bus package really is a must."
We need to invest in that! I can remember two excruciatingly long waits on our last trip that doubled your current total wait time.
Dang guessed that wrong!
Hopped on a train for Frontierland!
Missed that one too!
Why is that sign showing a hand pointing...
WITH ONLY ONE FINGER?!?!?
Well how do you point? I only use one finger.
But admittedly, I didn't know what "waffle fries" were.
Like wha?
Not one of you told me that Sunshine Tree Terrace and Aloha Isle swapped spots!
I don't think I know where either of these locations are. I've only had Dole Whips once in either Disney park and heck if remember where I got it in MK.
Go ahead. Say it out loud. "I want one"
I want one.
We were passing by HM when we decided to pop into Momento Mori.
This was the result of that detour.
That's kinda cool! We are planning a HM theater room in our house and these would make great portraits. I wonder if they could make them all lenticular like you did.
I think it's wonderful that Disney has so many animals to cull...
er, collect from. Don't you? Doesn't it warm your heart?
You know way back, there was this guy who was a friend of Walt's. He was a hunter. He tried to give Walt some of these kind of Trophies. Walt wouldn't take them. The guy died and left them to him in his will. Eventually they made it into a room at a restaurant at DL, the room was called the Trophy Room. Recently this room was lost due to a remodel and was taken over by kitchen space in the newly redone restaurant. I wonder if any of the trophies made it to Gaston's.
Still had fun though. But I'll take BTMRR over it any day.
Me too.
(Say you're astonished (feel free to paraphrase) and get free bonus points!)
I'm normally that literal, but I'll play along and paraphrase.
OMG, You've got to be kidding????? Really????? No way! I never would have guessed! !!!

Yikes! At one point I was on top and now I'm trailing by almost 20%!
1. How long until the next monorail?
So I'm guessing that you are at the express monorail and not the resort monorail and that's the one you want us to guess on. They probably have two that go back and forth so I'm gonna guess 6 minutes.
2. Where's our World Showcase ADR?
(Hint: It's been guessed at least once before.)
I'm gonna say Teppan Edo because that's whereI'd like to eat.
3. We get some snacks in Epcot! Two of them, each.
What are they?
(ie: pick 2 snacks)
Cronut, caramel marshmallow swirl
4. We do one ride in FW. Which one?
Test track
5. We see one character by happenstance. Any idea who?
(Major hint. Not a princess. But a face character.)
