Nope. I told everyone that flattery

I'm back and prepared to comment. Luke had his first communion over the weekend and since we live out of state from the rest of the family we had visitors. It was a busy week, but it's Monday and I'm free

The parents process in with the communicant, and we go up with him when he receives the sacrament for the first time.. I think I'm more nervous than he is about the whole thing! I didn't think we had to process in with him! haha

I need it right now. I was at work when I wrote that... until 6:45am. Got home, slept for 2 hours then took Mom to the airport. Now I'm up with a real busy evening ahead of me.

Hahaha! I can't make any promises about that! I just keep telling myself that it isn't so emotional since I have to go up there with him instead of watching him from my seat. But who am I kidding? i'll be an emotional wreck!

If it makes you feel better, in my church children aren't baptized until they are 10/11. Well, since we weren't really doing church at that age, I was baptized when I was 21. While I'm standing in the baptismal pool, my parents are supposed to come up the front of the church, and after I'm dunked, light the baptismal candle.

The day before I'm being baptized, my mom is out for a run, trips, and falls face first on the concrete sidewalk. So she shows up that Sunday with a shiner, bruised lip, and one stitch in her nose.

We don't have any family pictures from that day.
