Today's photo-trip is to Epcot...
I had to throw this one in first...this is my DD's and I at Bongo's Cuban Cafe in Downtown Disney...the decor there is so amazing...from the giant pineapple to the 'bongo' seats at the bar...we loved the Cuban food (at least DW and I did)...and although the service was a bit of a downer (we couldn't get the server to smile), overall I would recommend Bongo's to anyone looking for something a little different...
Now to Epcot...here is my 15 year old...wishful thinking...in a hummer in the showroom at Test Track...this was her favourite photo of our trip
...
DD playing the Disney 'tag' game in Innovations...one of the few things in Innovations that was worth using valuable park time (IMHO)...it was a good game for kids and everyone 'won' each game...
Onto World Showcase, and my DD's in front of Canada...I really liked this photo...
In the back of the stores in U.K. was this room that periodically featured Pooh characters...I didn't notice until later how colour co-ordinated my girls and their respective characters were. lol
On to Japan...and a photo op with Mushu and Mulan...with autographs of course...
We found this 'living statue' in Italy...(last trip, we found her in France
)...if you haven't seen them, check their schedule...they are so amazing...and funny too... here's DW & DD with a statue...the statue has a firm grip on DD's ponytail and wouldn't let her go
...another fun moment at WDW...got it on video too...
Next two pics are from the 'Masquerade' in Italy...wonderful stuff...first the characters do a little show on the stage...then they come out and mingle with the crowd...this first photo is of the whole ensemble...
The 'Cassanova' of the group then stole away my DD...he took her hand and the strolled around the courtyard as they waved goodbye to us
...they finally ended up on the stage and posed for this picture...DD was shades of red that I'd never seen before
...people were coming up to her and telling her how lovely a couple they were
... it was too much
...
Finishing our day at the Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki in Japan...first time there...loved it...can't wait to go back...*note* - a good chef can make all the difference in the world here...the chef's 'show' is the highlight..but the food was very good too...
