So our trip to Toronto is getting close and I have decided to buy the Fast Lane passes for our family of 4 despite the cost. We will be in TO from July 31st to August 6th. My question is this:

If we buy the Fast Lane passes, does matter which day we go? Do the passes work as well on a really busy day (like a Sat or Sun) like they do on a less crowded day? What kind of wait times will we be looking at with Fast Lane passes?

Any shared experience with this would be greatly appreciated.

You buy for the day your there, its not a floating one. The lines are the same, just walk on. There are two different types the more expensive gets you the 2 biggest rides, Behemoth and Leviathon. So if your buy any might as well spend the extra 5 or 10 for the big one.

We were there yesterday and the lines for Fast Lane were never actually busy. I think I only seen them being used on a couple of rides. Mind you we didn't do the leviathan or the behemoth and the park wasn't very busy, weekends will probably be busier.

We will be in Toronto starting July 31st and our choices for days to visit CW are Fri the 1st, Sun the 3rd through to Wed the 6th. With only 1 day we wanted to make the most of it.

A friend of mine said who is a coaster fan, said he went to CW without the Fast Lane passes and got to ride only 7 rides in 10 hrs. We too are big coaster fans and want to make the most of our 1 day there. I have been told that it is a long weekend with a civic holiday on Monday. Will there be any difference to FL waits if the park is super busy? Our preferred days are either Fri or Sun.

its about 2 hour waits for the two big coasters - there is no attempt to move people at all -- the staff are slow.

I could see, especially on a weekend, only getting on 7 rides -- as expensive as it is -- get the speed lane pass -- there is a reason they can cahrage as much as they do for it.

Are the non fast lane rides going to be do-able on a busy park day? My dh pointed out that if we only do fast lane rides (which are the most extreme) he's probably going to be sick by the end of the day.

i cannot off the top of my head, recall a NON extreme ride at Wonderland -- except for the kiddie rides -- and i guess the Carousel.

with the fast pass and a full day, you should be able to do about 80%.

without the fast pass -- probably 30%.

Thanks! It sounds like my kind of park. :rotfl: I can't wait!

Try to arrive early - we were there today around 10, lines were manageable for a while but quickly grew to 90 minutes for the headliners. Splashworks was OK in the morning but by 12:00 there were no chairs left. Interesting to note that even though the rides had long lines the food service areas did not.

Thanks! Our plan is to arrive by 9:30....we are rope drop kind of people. :goodvibes
