Can you see the show from the restaurant, or is there a place outside the restaurant to see it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, you can. It's best if you're sitting near the window, but you can probably see it from some interior seating as well. They turn the lights down when it's on, so everyone can see better. They do pipe in the music, but it's bad quality.

You will probably get a better view if you are on the Poly beach instead of in 'Ohana. I believe they also pipe the music onto the beach as well.

Yes you can , but you have to request window seating and plan your ressie about 1 hour before the fireworks. MANY people hang around at their table waiting for the fireworks and we have been forced to take a table away from the windows while people just sat for over an hour not leaving. Besides, at Ohana's you usually have a good 30-45 minute wait even after your ressie time. There are only about 18 tables with good views and you need to make your request early. Also confirm it when you check in that night.

We also really enjoy eating at Ohana's earlier and then grabbing a nice drink and pulling up a beach chair at the lake behind the pool. Very relaxing and quiet place to enjoy the show!

RBL291... I am thinking it may be much better to sit out on the beach. Do they pipe in the music too?

Yes the music is piped on the beach as well as the restaurant.

Hope you have a great time!:cool1:

Never been to Kona Kafe, but is there a good view to see the fireworks there?

No view of the fireworks from Kona Cafe.

My daughter and I watched Wishes from the beach several weeks ago by the pool and could barely hear the piped in music. Last year, our family were closer to the dock and to a speaker and could hear the music. That said, if you walk along the beach path toward the TTC, the island will not block the castle as much, LOTS of people sit there. Watching Wishes from the beach with my Dole Whip is one of our favorite things to do.

Last summer, we also had dinner in Ohana's and when the fireworks started, my niece and I walked to the windows sat at small empty table. The rest of the family were eating the double desserts they gave us bread pudding AND pineapple with dipping caramel, mmmmm:goodvibes.

On our 1st trip to 'Ohana we reserved a 9 pm dinner knowing that Wishes would be at 10. I was very annoyed with the CMs at the podium--they messed up our ressie, kept on asking us for our name, had us waiting for 20 min even though there were lots of empty tables and then when they seated us (not near the windows, not too far from the entrance) I asked about the Wishes view and they said "You'll have a great view of the fireworks here."

At that point I was happy just to be seated and eating--the food was great too. But guess what--when Wishes started, after a couple of minutes looking at the show and wondering why the castle looked so flat and wide and why we were only getting glimpses of fireworks I realized--our "great view" was a view of Space Mountain! So if you want a Wishes view you may have to wait for a table that has a real view.
