Can you watch Illuminations from America Gardens Theatre?

This is a serious question, because we have no idea what the layout of Epcot is like.

We have never seen Illuminations before, and we also have never been to a Candlelight Processional. The last CP is 8:15 to 9:15 PM, and Illums starts at 9:30 PM. I have heard before that we should try to get a spot for Illums 30 minutes prior. Which made me curious, is it possible to just stay at AGT and watch Illums from there???

Yeah, I am pretty clueless....

Im pretty sure it is blocked by the theatre. Our favorite viewing spot is on the balcony in Japan of the sushi restaurant! Have fun!

You can't see from the theatre but if you leave the theatre and head towards Italy there is a good viewing spot between the theatre and the Venetian bridges and gondolas.

That't the answer.
The stage from the American Gardens Theater is along the water and would totally block your view of Illuminations.

Besides that, they block off the theater well before Illuminations so that you can't get in there.

There are lots of good spots to view Illuminations all around WS.

Just walk out of the theatre and find a good spot, there's some good areas by Germany, Italy and Japan, although the best spot is by the front of World Showcase between the 2 gift shops, but that's a good distance from th AG theatre, but you can't stay in the theatre and if you could you wouldn't be able to see anything!!!!
