this is in beginning of June for 2 people. Can you get in or do you need to book ahead of time. Thanks

We were just there this week.
All three of those restaurants typically had same day reservations available. San Angel Inn, for sure, was turning walk-ups away but giving them the dining number to call for reservations. So it's not that they didn't have tables available, but that they wanted everyone to make a reservation.

Your best bet will probably just to decide a few hours in advance and pull up the dining tab on the MDE app and see what's available.

Yep, same day ADRs are the way to go. You can jump on the MDE ap while walking around see what is available and grab it that way. That is the only way we book ADRs, we never book them in advance and have never had any problems getting something. Skipper's you could probably walk up but the rest are probably going to tell you to make ADRs. Heck we had ADRs for San Angel and got there about 45 min. early and they told us we couldn't even check in much less get a table, we had to wait until 10 min. before our check in time and come back. Tiffins you might have some luck, I know at one point they had podiums outside trying to lure people in but they may have finally gotten enough talk that they don't have to do that. I know we got same day for Tiffins and San Angel, we walked up to Skipper's but that was before they required ADRs.

Both. You can easily get in but you need to book the ADR. Just book that morning. Easy. That's what we do
