Can you walk into Be Our Guest without eating there?

Last September they did allow guests to enter the lobby area before opening to get a glance inside the ballroom dining room. The restrooms were also open. Not sure if they still do this or not.

We were able to do this in December 2013 and were allowed to linger as long as we liked taking photos etc. It was about 9:30 or so am.

Very. Hard. Just saying!

No it is not hard in The least bit. Currently using the BOG special website found easily through google, you can book your lunch FP+ about 24 days out, they open a new window every day, so yesterday they opened August 5th, today anyone looking for August 6th will open up, tomorrow anyone looking for August 7th will open up etc. etc.

If I get in line at 1:30 on a 9 crowd level day do you think I will be in time for the parade in Liberty Square?

We ate there last week. We went right over at exactly 10:30 and were sent straight in, given a rose, ordered at the touchscreen and had our food delivered in just minutes! No wait whatsoever! I was expecting a line or something..maybe since it was July 4th week they let people in early? idk but it was perfect!

Just a piece of trivia to share with OP. Before BoG officially opened, it was open for viewing, with CMs here and there to guide you. There was a line on the left side of the bridge for touring, and a line on the right for CS lunch. On select days, they opened the reservations booth on the other end of the bridge, and took same-day dinner reservations. In my 11 days at WDW, I had a tour, then I had lunch one day, and dinner on another day. It was super! This was early November, 2012.

I too, did the tour before it officially opened. I was very lucky to have a look around all of Fantasyland and get on Ariel before it opened as a CM let me in on a day for only Florida residents as I was on my own and asked nicely, I was literally the only person on the whole ride, couldn't believe it.

I'd love to get Be Our Guest on fastpass+. How hard is it to book an early lunch there?

Right, it's not hard to book. But, you do have to be an on site guest to do it. So there is an * needed for that. Off site guests are not able to book at all.

And there is no consistent day that they are released. Right now they are doing a day at a time, have been for about a week or so. Before that it was a month at a time. Then nothing new opened for about 2 weeks. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Maybe it will still be opening day by day. Maybe a large group will open, maybe they'll stop it again.

Thanks for posting, thatis encouraging! So, hopefully we should not have a long wait in September! :goodvibes

Is there a minimum amount of food you have to get to go in at lunch? We are a group of nine people going in September and are trying to limit our spending on food and extras. We are planning on bringing snacks and PB&J type stuff with us into the parks to avoid buying meals there. But, I am sure we will want to go inside BOG, too. I would not pull out our packed lunches in there, but wonder if we would have to buy food in there during the QS lunch hours or can we wait in line or FP it just to go in and look around and take pics???

We visited last winter and the adults wanted lunch, but we knew the kids were not interested in what was on the menu. They had their lunch first on a bench (somewhat picky eaters, their lunch was brought into the park) and they had cupcakes for desert. They were thrilled with the "gray stuff" "its delicious" and seeing everything. I think you could order a desert if you wanted. Grammy
