Can you Video tape on a Disney ride??

Is it against any rules to video tape on a Disney ride?

I'm not using flash photography, only video without a light; I would like to capture some of the incredible detail & excitement on rides such as Splash Mountain, Fast Track, Peter Pan, Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, etc. so we can watch all year.

We've taped a few - Kilimajaro Safari & the Backlot Tour, but those are more "open-air" type of rides.

Opinions?...Answers?...

You can tape on certain attractions. We've taped Big Thunder Mountain, Snow White, Backlot, Movie ride, and some of the Haunted Mansion (Its very hard to get a clear picture in the Mansion). I will be taping all of Test track next week!!!!
as for ToT, they do not allow you to tape the ride.

I believe it is permitted on many attractions if no light is used.

I have a bunch of the rides on videotape from my trip in 1989. It's neat to watch the rides that aren't there anymore!

Since getting a video camera, the Test Track video that I took in 2003 is my favorite so far from the rides that I have taped. I put it on one of our vacation DVDs with the song by Sammy Hagar - "I can't Drive 55". Goes quite well. I want to tape some rides while at DL. We didn't have a video camera our last DL trip.

Like others posted above, we enjoy looking at past rides (Backlot Tour) also. Besides reliving the fun times over and over of particular rides, we look forward to capturing a new "time capsule" full of thrills and screams.

Goin' in June, can't wait to see my guys' faces when I tell them I want to tape one or more of the rides...they'll think I'm nuts! Of course, until, they get to "re-visit" WDW while watching the tapes.

If anyone has a good tip for rides like POTC and Haunted Mansion, please share them. The video camera seems to go crazy in those types of ride trying to focus while moving through the darkness. Rides like Journey into Imagination recorded well for me since it was more bright

TOT would be a fun movie memory if they allowed it.
