Can you use Valet with TIW at the Yacht Club if you have reservations at an Epcot resort?

We plan to come back over and have dessert at Beaches and Cream and wandering through the resorts.

Why would you just not use it at the resort you have the reservation at?

If you mean an EPCOT restaurant then no.

I have to older people with us that have difficulty walking long distances. I don't want to spend $100 on scooters from Disney and we are eating at Restaurant Marrakesh. I thought if we could do valet they would only have to walk to the boat and from the boat to the restaurant.

I guess I can just drop them off at the hotel and park. Just trying to help them any way I can and the $100 a day on scooters is really making this trip more expensive.

You can use the valet parking, but you will have to pay for it.

You can't get the free TiW valet parking at the Beach Club unless you are dining at the Beach Club with your TiW card.

I'd recommend using the Yacht Club to get to the boat. You could always pay for valet then your can use it all day if necessary.

Well, if its the walk you are concerned about then Beach Club would be the better choice. I understand how spending $100 on scooters would be a bit much. Fortunately paying for Valet Parking is significantly less.

But Marrakesh is still a considerable distance from the BC or YC entrance. If they are unable to walk from the main entrance of Epcot, walking from the BC or YC is still just as far. I'd choose a different restaurant, like at a hotel, that would be easier to get to.

Like someone else said, you can pay to valet park, but you won't get it for free and eat at Marrakesh.

I see why you want to park at YC, YC is closer to the boat launch than BC. So you would have a short walk from the valet area to the boat, then a rest in the boat, and another not-quite-as-short walk from the boat to the restaurant.

Comparing that to walking from your parking space at Epcot to the tram, then from the tram through Future World and all the way back through WS to the restaurant, you would save a considerable number of steps by parking at YC.

Interesting that TIW does not include valet parking for dining at WS restaurants. Of course I didn't know it included valet parking at all!

I would just pay to valet at YC, and have fun!

Just looked at the Disney website. Since you are planning on dessert at B&C and B&C is included in the list of participating restaurants, I don't see why you could not use your valet benefit. You might just want to explain your situation and ask the valet folk when you drop your car off, just in case there is an issue with the length of time involved before your dessert at B&C.

Why should they include free Valet Parking with the TIW when those restaurants are located in World Showcase at Epcot and not at the restaurants located at the resort. So in my opinion it makes sense not to include Theme Park restaurants when you Valet Park at a resort.

However, you can park at the theme park parking lots for free if you're only going for a meal. I'm paraphrasing the TIW brochure I just got in the mail, but it says:"Before 5:00 PM...pay for parking, then on your way out of the park and if it has been less than 3 hours, show your membership card and dining receipt for reimbusement for parking. After 5:00 PM, members can show their membership card at the Toll Plaza to enter the parking lot...On block out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services."

And if either of your elderly guests have a handicapped vehicle hangtag, you can park in the handicap parking area.

Or valet park for free with a handicapped tag.

As someone with really bad legs, I can attest that shorter walks with stops in between can work out okay. The concept of parking at Future World and walking all the way to Morocco would be impossible for me. Can they walk steps? If so, then Boardwalk would probably be the closest valet to the boat. You walk down a flight of steps and across a small lawn and the boat is right there. It's probably half the distance that it would be at the Yacht Club.

The Boardwalk would also give you options for dessert if you're interested. Seashore Sweets has ice cream plus lots of delicious tasty treats, and the Boardwalk Bakery has wonderful small cakes, cupcakes, tarts, etc. A nice cup of coffee and a table on the Boardwalk is a lovely way to end an evening.

There are also scooter rentals from Buena Vista scooters at the Boardwalk which would be less than the Disney cost. You can pick one or two up for the evening, use the boat to get to Epcot and have the scooter with you. Return it back to the Boardwalk stand at the end of the night.
