Can you use TS credit at QS?

I know it wouldn't be the "best" use of a credit, but hypothetically speaking......
If I was able to book a trip during free dining, it would likely be a better deal than the RO discount for our resort. But my family doesn't really care for sit down meals, we would prefer to just eat at counter serve places most of the time. DS has autism and doesn't wait well, when he is ready to eat, he is READY . So we may be able to do a couple buffets, since we wouldn't have to order food then wait for it to come, but otherwise we are very "boring" eaters anyway, DH would eat BBQ pork or hamburgers every meal if he could!
If I were paying OOP for a plan, I'd just do the QS plan. But if we got regular free dining, could we use the table serve credits for quick serve instead?

We asked about this during our stay in September. The concierge at Yacht Club told us that we could do it. He said you just need to tell them at the register at the QS location and there is something they can punch in to take the TS credit off instead of the QS credit.

Yes, after you've used up all of your QS credits, you can redeem a TS credit at a counter service restaurant.

While you can do this, I would find a way to squeeze in a table service. After all why not get what you are entitled to? Haven't had a table service meal at disney world that I regret!

I too am the father of an Autistic Child. After a day of running around having his mind blown by the fantastic time he's having he is ready to sit and recharge for 45 minutes. I always let my waiter know my child needs to complete his dining experience in 45 minutes if I suspect any problems. Also ask that the kids meals be brought with the appetizers. They usually comply after all it's in their best interest.

Yes, you definitely can.
We did it two years ago even though we still had TS credits left.
And at the end of our stay we STILL had some credits left and we ended up taking some snacks for the plane instead of actual meals.
