You'll have to call ahead of time in order to apply your DVA against your room-only charge. You won't be able to use the DVA in person, and you won't be able to apply extra to the room in advance to cover incidentals. You can, however, have DVA send you a single gift card for up to $1,000 of your balance, which can be used in person at the resort or parks for all charges.
