Can You Use The Airtran Coupon For?

I swore I wasn't going to be one of those that asked a repeated time and time question about Airtran, but I couldn't find the answer to my question.

Can you use the coupon for upgrading to business class? If so, how do you do it for 4 people. I will have 4 different codes I assume because I signed each one of my family members up for the coupon.

I've never been lucky enough to be able to use one of the coupons until now, maybe.

I don't think it is possible. When checking in online there is no place to enter coupon codes as part of a payment. You may be able to do it by calling or upgrading at the airport checkin counter.
