Can you use Disney Gift cards at Aulani?

I like to prepay my vacations as much as possible. I'm looking at staying at Aulani next year and plan on using the spa, attend the luau and take some of the excursions/activities. Can I use Disney Gift cards to pay for some of that? I can start slowly buying some and have that money set aside safely.

Unknown re Spa as I didn't use mine there in person. When attempting to pre-book, it took us to a non disney domain so I didn't go forward with the transaction online.

I don"t do the luau (looked into it) but I believe you prepay for it so make sure that you use one form of payment when you book (can't use multiple gift cards in one transaction online). So if you are having 3-4 people, consider putting money into one gift card (consolidate the funds).

You may be able to pre-book, put a credit card online when you check into resort online and then charge to your room at the spa. I just brought my credit card with me.

Anything 3rd party related you cannot use DGC that I am aware of. So excursions would not have the ability to use GC. The Luau is 3rd party so I think no, someone else may be able to confirm that here. Disney based activities like Aunties premium yes you can use DGC.

If you can charge those things back to your room account, you will be able to pay with gift cards at check out. Not sure if they allow them to be charged back. I do know at WDW I have been able to charge 3rd party meals and even merchandise back to my room account and then pay by Disney gift card at check out.

Your room account can be paid with gift cards. I didn't even use up the value of mine, so still have nearly $200 credit left.

We stayed on DVC points, so don't know about the actual room cost, but imagine it can also be paid by gift card

The Lu'au, as mentioned, is a third-party vendor, and definitely was not payable by gift card.
Most of the off-site excursions are booked through the same outfit as the Lu'au PleasantActivities.com give them a call to ask specifics

No, we couldn't charge backk the luau to our room. Restaurants and drinks, a few gifts was all.
Purchased postage at the Concierge desk, and that COULDN'T, had to be paid directly by credit card or cash, not the gift card.
