Can you use debit/credit cards at resort food courts?

We are leaving for our trip on Friday and I couldn't remember if you could use a debit/credit card to pay for food at the food courts or if you had to pay w/ cash. I know it sounds stupid, but didn't know if I needed to carry extra cash!

You can use any card (credit or debit) that has a Visa or Mastercard logo (or American Express, Discover or JCB I suppose) .. but not ANY debit card that requires a PIN to be entered.

If you have charge-to-your-room set up, you can charge from pretty much anywhere using your room key.

Thanks for the info! I'm not one to carry cash (I work at a bank!!) and now I feel better about not carrying more than I have to. It was definitely clear as mud for me!

I wonder why you can not use a debit card that requires a pin to be entered???

We never carried a bit of cash our whole trip, and we were just fine

We usually just charge purchases to the room, which we find very convenient. In fact, about the only thing we needed actual cash for was for tipping staff, such as mousekeeping, bellman, etc.
