Here is my question ...

Can you make a reservation in a park using a table service (DDP) if you dont want to use a park admission for that day?

I want to eat in Hollywood Studios one evening, but we arent going to that park on that day, and we dont have park hop tickets. So can we still eat there? Is there some special pass to let you into eat then leave again?

Thanks!

No there is not. In order to get into the park you will need admission.

Where are you trying to eat? What do you currently have planned for your studios day. I'd suggest you look at either a: Other options or b) Changing your plans.

No, you can not get in for an ADR without a park ticket. When you make an ADR for a restaurant in the park the CM will most likely give you the reminder that park admission is required.

1) No.
2) You must have a park admission to eat inside the park.
3) After all, how do they know you just didn't make an ADR to get in free?
4) Or, went on rides before/after you ate?

Thats what im looking at now. Im thinking capt jacks and cape may.

You can't enter a park without park admission. Resorts or DTD are your alternatives.

The only theme park restaurant you can eat at without going into the park is the Rainforest Cafe location at the Animal Kingdom, because they have an entrance you see before you enter the park. However all the other locations require theme park admission.

Huh. My friend told me that there were a few Epcot restaurants with outside entrances that you could eat at. She must be wrong. We've got Park Hoppers, so it doesn't matter to us, but I'd had that same question too.

1) OK, there is a partial truth to this.
2) WDW will bus some people into Epcot and directly to an eatery. *
3) They cannot get to the restaurant except via the private bus.
4) At times, these parties are before or after normal park hours.
5) These people by-pass the entrance and do not pay admission.
6) Typically these exceptions are
. . . outside company or convention private parties
. . . wedding/anniversary/rehearsal meals
. . . large private parties

* There is a road which circles the Epcot pavilions which is used for deliveries and CM access.
